ABOUT:
Los Angeles-based duo, Gene Micofsky and Christina LaRocca, are bringing their soulful, Americana-tinged rock show on the road again. This November, they are hitting the southern US on what they are calling the Never Going Back 2019 Tour. They will be touring from southern California, thru the great state of Texas, Music City, NOLA, the sunshine state and more.
Both artists have released individual full-length albums in the past year, as well as performed on each other’s records - Gene’s cinematic self-produced debut, Amusia (2018), and Christina’s genre-bending, soulful catharsis, These are my Whiskey Dreams (2019). The albums tell their stories of the journeys they have made that led them to where they are today. At their show, you will hear select songs from both albums as well as some of their favorite james. Their music is for fans of Black Keys, Sheryl Crow, Kings of Leon, The Killers, Lana Del Rey, Bruce Springsteen, Patsy Cline, Elvis, Maren Morris, Lauryn Hill, Sam Cooke, Bob Marley, Muddy Waters, Etta James, Alanis Morrisette, Tom Petty & more. In May 2019 they went on an extensive European tour and passed thru cities London, Paris, Amsterdam, Berlin & more.
